A beauty-salon website with online booking: the client picks a service, a specialist and a time, and the system never lets the same time be booked twice. A demo with a fictional salon, “Aurum”.
Demo: the salon and its data are invented, and the interface is in Lithuanian.

Task
A salon needs clients to book on their own, and a time should be offered only when both the specialist and a suitable workstation are free. The demo shows how that works on the salon’s own website.
Solution
- Booking in a few steps: service, specialist, time and a phone number or e-mail address; only specialists who do that service are shown
- Free times follow the service’s duration and the break after it, the specialist’s working schedule and the salon’s opening hours
- The specialist and the workstation are reserved together in one database transaction, so the same time cannot be taken twice
- A visit link without a password: the client sees the visit and can cancel it
- Admin area: a day view by specialist, visit statuses (done, no-show, cancelled), services, specialists, workstations and schedules
- Times are stored in UTC and shown in Vilnius time, so the clock change does not change visit times

Technology
Next.js with Server Functions serves both the salon site and the admin area; free times are computed on each request from working schedules, opening hours and the time already booked that day. A booking takes the specialist and the workstation in one MongoDB transaction whose conditional writes allow no overlap.
